Job Description

Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a skilled Buyer to join our team in the Flexible Packaging Industry in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement and purchasing within the packaging industry, specifically dealing with flexible packaging materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Financial Manager in sourcing packaging from pre-approved manufacturing sites globally
  • Evaluate and compare proposals and select the best option
  • Ensure that the best possible value is obtained by optimizing production and logistics efficiencies
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure that all relevant documentation is accurate and complete
  • Monitor factory performance and ensure that all deliveries are made on time
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise with suppliers, vendors, or clients
