Job Description
This role will support both a budget system implementation (Sherpa BFM) and a Budget-to-Report (B2R) workstream within an SAP transformation. This person acts as the bridge between Finance/Budget teams, IT/data teams, and external implementation partners.
• Gather and document business requirements and processes across budgeting, reporting, and financial operations; identify gaps and define future-state workflows.
• Translate requirements into system configuration and functional specifications, partnering with technical teams on setup, enhancements, and reporting needs.
• Support reporting and analytics, including designing, validating, and maintaining financial and budget reports and dashboards.
• Lead data migration and validation efforts, including data mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Execute testing across all phases (unit, integration, UAT), including test case development, defect tracking, and validation of fixes.
