The Economic Research Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is known as one of the top economic research institutions in the world. Shaping the debate on key economic issues through research and active engagement is an essential part of the mission of the Economic Research Division and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Business economists are expected to contribute to the Bank's research and policy mission through activities that support our Economic Expertise goal. This can include collaboration with other Bank economists, analyzing and presenting economic and financial information to diverse groups of internal and external constituents, providing periodic updates on these topics to the Bank’s President, and producing publishable research.
