Position Overview

Petra Group is supporting a confidential international industrial client in the search for a Business Controller to be based in the Northeast region of Brazil.

This position combines financial leadership with exposure to payroll and operational support, requiring a hands-on professional capable of operating in a structured yet evolving environment, with strong interaction across finance, operations, and HR.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Lead monthly closing and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (IFRS/US GAAP).
Maintain internal controls and support audit processes.
Oversee tax compliance (ICMS, PIS/COFINS, among others).
