Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Surgery at the University of North Carolina is seeking applications for a full-time academic surgeon to join the Division of Burn Surgery at the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center. The Burn division is expanding the clinical enterprise to include complex wounds. This new position is structured as a dual clinical role, with 50%-75% effort in effort in complex wound care and 25%-50% effort in burns, including critical care. It is well suited for a surgeon interested in longitudinal patient care, reconstructive surgery, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
The Jaycee Burn Center is one of the busiest burn centers in the United States and serves as a statewide referral center. The Division of Burn Surgery currently includes four faculty members who provide comprehensive care across the burn continuum, from acute injury through reconstruction and long-term...
