Clinical Role:
Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist
100% outpatient position at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), serving a diverse, community-based patient population
Focus on ruling out coronary artery disease and other cardiac conditions in a non-acute setting
Clinical Scope:
Manage stable patients presenting with chest pain, palpitations, and shortness of breath
Perform initial cardiac evaluations and determine appropriate next steps
Order follow-up diagnostics, including stress tests, echocardiograms, and Holter monitors (testing performed off-site)
Optional: At the provider's discretion, the cardiologist may refer patients to their own practice for stress tests, echocardiograms, etc.
