Job Description
The Brokerage Officer is part of the Adult Social Care Contract Management & Market Shaping service, which plays a critical role in ensuring people with care and support needs are matched with safe, appropriate, and value for money care and support. The Brokerage service works closely with social work teams, providers, and commissioning colleagues to support timely placements, manage system pressures, and uphold statutory duties across Cambridgeshire.
In this role, you will carry out person centred brokerage activity, implementing agreed processes to source and coordinate care and support that meets individual needs while managing risk, cost, and quality. You will work within clearly defined procedures, ensuring placements are made safely and efficiently, records are accurate, and issues are identified and escalated appropriately.
