Support the development of projects through the conceptual/study phase, preliminary engineering, and final design and through to construction. Prepare and oversee staff in the CAD development of bridge details and plans sets. Compile bridge type, size, and location studies. Coordinate bridge layouts, details, and constraints with other disciplines including roadway, drainage, and survey. Identify creative and innovative bridge engineering solutions based on client, project, and site constraints. Perform calculations, assemble calculation packages, and provide bridge load ratings. Coordinate with a team to meet project milestones. Perform construction site visits (as needed). Assist in the development of specifications, cost estimates, and preparation of final bid packages. Review contractor submitted shop and working drawings and calculations, RFIS, and requests for design changes.

Hybrid schedule is allowed.
