Job Description

  • Perform pre- and post-bunker surveys onboard vessels and at shore terminals.
  • Accurately measure fuel quantities using appropriate methods (ullage, temperature, density, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 22192:2021) during bunker operations.
  • Prepare and issue bunker survey reports and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Act as an independent verifier during fuel delivery to protect the interests of stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve quantity discrepancies or disputes during bunkering.
  • Liaise with vessel crew, suppliers, and port authorities during operations.
  • Maintain proper calibration and care of surveying equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) standards during site visits.
