Job Description

Introduction:

BOM/Costing Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain new Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing routings within the ERP system, while managing revisions and updates to existing product structures.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Planning to ensure BOM data remains current and aligned with product changes.
  • Collaborate with design teams to accurately interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Analyze and resolve BOM implementation discrepancies, incorporating process feedback to maintain data integrity.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and corrective actions to stakeholders across different organizational levels.
  • Support the enhancement and deployment of methodologies, tools, and standard operating procedures to improve BOM accuracy and efficiency.
