Responsibilities

• Shape and form metal body panels to required specifications.
• Perform chasing and finishing on automobile body parts.
• Repair and restore vehicle body panels using hand and power tools.
• Identify dents, creases and damage and restore to original shape.
• Work on custom fabrication and body modification projects.
• Ensure high quality finish on all bodywork.
• Maintain tools and work area in clean and safe condition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in auto body shaping and chasing.
• Strong hands-on skills in metal shaping and panel beating.
• Experience working with steel and aluminium body panels.
• Ability to use hand tools, hammers, dollies and shaping equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle body structure and repair techniques.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop environment.
