Job Description
Summary:
Responsibilities:
- AM - 8hr
- 40hr Days, 7A to 3:30P, M-F, with rotating call (does not have to come to campus but answers the phone when on-call).
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot critical care related instrumentation in critical care or surgical areas while in use. Diagnose the source of operational failure, if any, of patient-related equipment. Determine if the operation of the device is correct and provide recommendations for improved use.
- Conduct complete electrical safety testing and inspections on all equipment under the jurisdiction of the department of Clinical Engineering and the department of Health and Hospitals.
- Provide required periodic calibration of equipment to ensure proper operating function.
- Conduct complete performance assurance testing. Perform complete performance maintenance procedures as required following protocols.
