IRB Barcelona is seeking a Bioinformatics Software Developer to join the Biomedical Genomics Lab led by Dr. Núria López‑Bigas at IRB Barcelona. The position focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing bioinformatics tools for cancer genomics research and clinical integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and develop bioinformatics analysis pipelines in collaboration with researchers and engineering teams.
• Maintain and enhance cancer genomics tools such as Cancer Genome Interpreter, Intogen, BoostDM, and novel ultradeep sequencing mutation calling pipelines.
• Develop new analysis modules, improve interpretation of diverse mutation types, and connect tools to various cancer genomics databases.
• Implement functionalities aligning tools with clinical practice needs.
• Provide bioinformatics support for research projects in cancer genomics and precision oncology.
