Job Description
The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG is composed by an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team which is supported both by a flexible and efficient administration and by high-end and innovative technologies.
The CRG Bioinformatics Unit is seeking a Bioinformatician to implement, benchmark, and maintain robust, reproducible, and scalable bioinformatics workflows for the analysis of long‑read sequencing data. You will contribute to the development and application of long‑read approaches for the study of human genome variation and somatic genomic alterations in cancer, as well as to the characterisation of epigenomes and transcriptomes using these technologies.
