About the Role

The Development Support Manager BESS plays both a strategic and operational role in the development and structuring of new battery energy storage projects at Amarenco. This role is carried out in close collaboration with the development teams in Iberia, the BESS Market Strategy Manager, and various support functions of the Company (Investment Management, Engineering, Legal, etc.)

The position is based in Madrid (Spain) or Coimbra (Portugal).

Key Responsibilities and Main Tasks

• Support to Local Teams: Assist local project managers in structuring their development activities (site identification, planning, budgeting, risk management, reporting).
• Standardisation of Practices: Develop and disseminate tools, methodologies, and best practices for battery project development, based on feedback from activities in France.
