**DUTIES:** Build 1D fluid dynamics and coarse 3D thermal models that directly impact design development, validation and eliminate hardware testing. Create simulations including battery cell, battery pack, drive units, electric motors, power electronics, combustion engine and transmission related systems. Conceptualize, build, and exercise analytical system level models for electrified and conventional propulsion systems using 1D software tools. Integrate plant models of different domains into a larger system level model capable of βSoftware or Hardware (SiL or HiL) in the Loopβ Co-Simulation. Provide component-level and system-level design recommendations to Design Responsible Engineers based on interpretation of analysis results. Own and advance analysis practices and/or tools to improve prediction fidelity and execution speed. Collaborate with analysis counterparts across several VDDV teams representing global propulsion systems and vehicle engineering...
