Job Description

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Barber to support a unique Navy program based on the remote island of Diego Garcia.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide professional grooming services including cutting, trimming, tapering, and styling hair using clippers, scissors, razors, and related tools.

  • Evaluate hair and scalp condition and recommend appropriate grooming techniques.

  • Perform shaving, beard and mustache trimming, scalp treatments, and other grooming services.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace in accordance with industry and Navy standards.

  • Recommend grooming products and support customer service needs.

  • Manage equipment, maintain tools, and support morale and welfare initiatives for personnel stationed on the island.
