Job Description

Location: University of Pittsburgh - University Club

  • We are hiring immediately for full time and part time BANQUET HOUSEMAN positions.
  • Address: 123 University Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time and part time schedules; days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior steward experience is preferred.
  • Pay Range:  $17.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.

    • Additional Job Responsibilities: 

  • Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event orders (BEOs), including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and equipment with accuracy
  • Read and interpret room diagrams and BEOs to ensure proper event execution
  • Maintain cleanliness of all event and service areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general upkeep
