Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration of legacy Sybase applications to AWS cloud.
• Define migration strategies: rehost, re-platform, or re-architect.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS architectures.
• Build and modernize solutions using microservices and cloud-native patterns.
• Develop ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, PySpark, and move data to S3, Redshift, Athena.
• Handle large-scale data migration with strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Design real-time/near real-time pipelines using Kinesis, Kafka (MSK), Spark Streaming, or Flink.
• Implement event-driven and distributed streaming architectures with low latency.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC).
• Manage AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM with best practices.
