Summary The incumbent serves as an Aviation Safety Coordinator within Aircraft Certification Services. Leads broad global outreaches within AVS and to industry and foreign regulatory authorities to promote safety and common safety processes. Responsible for coordinating responses within the division on high profile or significant safety issues and coordinating the division's activities for accident and major incident investigations. Responsibilities The incumbent is a recognized expert for assigned product types within the FAA. Applies technical expertise of specific product types and knowledge of FAA aviation safety regulations, policies and objectives to identify, define and organize work for multiple work activities.
