HireArt is helping our client find an AV Safety Data Engineer (Contract) to support safety-critical data infrastructure and analysis.

In this role, you’ll develop and maintain scalable data systems that surface safety-relevant interactions, evaluate AV events, and inform autonomy development through data-driven insights. You’ll build pipelines, metrics, and tools that generate reliable signals from large datasets, directly influencing system readiness and safe deployment.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, technically strong in data engineering, and experienced working with safety-critical systems.

As an AV Safety Data Engineer (Contract), you'll:

Develop and maintain data miners to identify safety-relevant events from fleet and simulation data.

Improve miner accuracy and efficiency using statistical and machine learning techniques.
