Police Automotive Mechanic II

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Annual Salary: $41,361.58
Per Mississippi State Statute 21-31-63: Any applicant for a position of any kind under civil service must be a citizen of the United States and an elector of the county in which he resides and must meet only such bona fide occupational residency requirements as may be determined by the civil service commission or the governing authority of the municipality.
Position Overview
The Police Automotive Mechanic is responsible for the skilled electronic and mechanical work in the maintenance of police department vehicles.
The Police Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of all after market electronics within the police department. This is to include, lighting systems, two-way radios, surveillance equipment, remote audio monitoring equipment, cellular equipment, and in car camera syste...
