Job Description
- Lead the automation strategy and execution across two manufacturing sites (Mexico and the United States)
- Drive standardization and scalability of automation processes across both plants
- Manage automation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timing, cost, and quality targets are met
- Oversee PLC, HMI, SCADA, and control systems integration and optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, downtime reduction, and OEE improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (especially within a life sciences environment)
- Evaluate and implement new automation technologies and industry best practices
- Lead, develop, and mentor the automation engineering team
