POSITION MANDATE

Manages the day-to-day operations of the department and oversees the sales and execution of work. Ensures all department staff are on task and producing quality work. Works to expand the department, growing the customer base and broadening product options.

Resourcing the department and staff

• Manages the hiring, training, supervision and performance evaluation of department staff. Pays particular attention to the job skills and integration of new recruits.
• Ensures all department staff receive the oversight, training and development they require for them and the department to be successful.
• Deals with emerging concerns, problem solving and troubleshooting technical, project and customer related matters referred by others. Mentors others through the process.
