Job Description
Job Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct basic audiological assessments
- Use of 2 patient identifiers
- Obtain case history from patients and caregivers
- Competent in otoscopy, Pure Tone Audiometry, Immitance test (Tympanometry and Acoustic Reflex), Eustachian tube function test, Speech test and Otoacoustic Emission test
- Accurate recording and uploading of audiometric test results, and charging on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Interpret audiometric results for patients, caregivers and health care professionals involved
- Provide counseling services to patients, parents and all concerned
- Provide Hearing Aid Services/Management
- Conduct hearing aid evaluations where patients are given information regarding hearing aids in general, how it helps, and types, features, costs and benefits.
