Job Description
Summary
The Audiologist is responsible for delivering comprehensive audiology services, including assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation, and counseling for patients with hearing and balance disorders. The role requires executing audiological procedures, maintaining clinical equipment, supporting hospital initiatives, and ensuring quality patient care under the supervision of the Head of Audiology.
Job Description
- Conduct comprehensive audiology assessments and diagnostic procedures (Pure Tone Audiometry, Tympanometry, Acoustic Reflex, OAE, ABR/BSER, ASSR, VEMP, vestibular screening, etc.) in accordance with consultant referrals and clinical standards.
- Provide newborn hearing screening services, record findings accurately, ensure timely referrals, and maintain follow-up compliance.
- Fit and verify hearing aids and assistive listening devices, ensuring appropriate prescription, counseling, functional trial, and postβfitting adjustments...
