Robert Half is partnering with a BUSY law firm in the Greater Portland Area to identify a Litigation Attorney who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.


Responsibilities:

+ Manage a portfolio of matters involving insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and construction defect claims.

+ Prepare and revise pleadings, answers, motions, briefs, and other case documents with strong attention to legal accuracy and deadlines.

+ Conduct legal research and apply findings to support litigation strategy, motion practice, and case development.

+ Review discovery materials, draft written responses, and identify important evidence relevant to liability and damages issues.
