Job Description
I. Specific Responsibilities and Duties
In addition to mutually agreed upon goals to be developed in partnership with the department director, and the division chief, the associate professor shall assume the following responsibilities and duties:
Clinical: Service commensurate with your skills in cardiac surgery at a clinical commitment of90% effort. You are expected to participate in the adult cardiac surgery service call. We expect you to be clinical 4 days/week. Your practice will substantially focus on coronary artery bypass grafting surgery as well as the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery. One additional day will be devoted to multidisciplinary structural heart disease clinic as well as your surgical outpatient visits.
General Academic and Teaching: We anticipate that you will devote 10%, half day per week, of your time to the formal and informal instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows. We would expect that y...
