Responsibilities:

  • Owner of the statutory valuation of Hong Kong & Bermuda branch’s policy liabilities and risk capital; this includes at the minimum the timely and accurate reporting of the policy liabilities and risk capital quarterly and annually, preparation of the statutory forms quarterly and annually.
  • Perform solvency reporting, monitoring, and sensitivity analyses across all TLB solvency bases (Bermuda, Hong Kong) and recommend actions (including quantification of impacts) to improve solvency and to manage against uncertainty.
  • Perform solvency stress testing which is typically aligned with the tests performed within the ORSA, and to consider recovery plan and management actions.
  • Own the projection and reporting of capital generation, including the sensitivities of capital generation.
  • Own the management and governance of matching adjustment or liquidity premium as applicable to local solvency bases;...
