The Associate Counsel 1 provides guidance and support on organizational legal issues.
- Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks.
- Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
- Ensures the organization operates in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Assists with representation of the organization in legal matters.
- Assists with governance, litigation and risk management activities.
- Works closely with outside counsel, in-house attorneys, and/or various stakeholders.
- May help represent and defend the organization against suits and claims.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Education: Advanced degree; J.D. or LL.M
- Experience: 0 years experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Must be a member of the Idaho Bar within one year
