Job Description
The Associate Buyer is responsible for executing procurement processes, managing supplier interactions, and ensuring accurate data and order flow. The position works closely with supply planning, production scheduling, and materials planning to maintain continuity of supply and support operational requirements.
What you will do
Maintain master data in ERP systems, including supplier lead times, product details, and minimum order quantities, ensuring 100% data accuracy and system alignment
Communicate forecast requirements to suppliers for finished goods, components, and raw materials based on weekly planning cycles
Place purchase orders in line with defined processes and compliance requirements, ensuring timely and accurate execution
Monitor and communicate safety stock levels to suppliers, ensuring alignment with supply plans and inventory targets
