Core Responsibilities

• Information delivery & analytics: Develop, implement, and optimize AI systems with generative technologies, turning complex data into intelligent solutions.
• Model Development & Research: Design and develop generative AI models for text, image, code, and multimodal applications. Research prompt engineering, RAG systems, and model alignment.
• Applied AI Solutions: Translate business requirements into technical solutions, build and optimize retrieval‑augmented generation systems, and develop custom evaluation metrics for domain‑specific generative tasks.
• Partner with business units: Shape the analytics agenda and collaborate with all of Nomura’s businesses to define adoption roadmaps.
