SUMMARY The position of Assistant to Dean of Students provides hallway and classroom coverage, administers limited medication management, acts as first point of contact for Cooke School, and provides secretarial and clerical support to Dean of Students and other staff working within the FSYR Donald Ralph Cooke School.  The Assistant to Dean of Students is directly responsible to Dean of Students.

This position is eligible for overtime pay.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Prepares correspondence and other material from written draft and prepares for distribution for mailing, including editing for content, grammar, and spelling accuracy.

Prepares and maintains extensive files relating to Cooke School operations, including many confidential files.

Receives incoming telephone calls, including telephone inquiries, as needed.

Prepares minutes of various staff and other meetings as requested.
