Job Description
The Assistant Tax Manager oversees the companyβs tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions. This role ensures accurate and timely filing of national and local tax requirements while providing operational tax support to real estate activities, including property sales, leasing, and corporate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Review and prepare national and local tax returns (VAT, EWT, FWT, income tax, DST, etc.).
- Ensure timely filing and payment of BIR and LGU-related tax obligations.
- Monitor tax calendars and compliance deadlines across multiple projects/entities.
- Oversee reconciliation of tax accounts with the general ledger.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
