About the Position

Assistant Supervisors serve as lead members of the direct care team, providing similar day-to-day functions as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) but with administrative responsibilities including training, scheduling, systems management, and in some cases, directly supervising other DSPs.

Depending on the supports needed, Assistant Supervisors may work in a person’s home, in their family’s home, in a YAI residence, at a day habilitation center, or out in the community.
