Job Advert Safeguarding Assistant Practitioner

We are looking for an enthusiastic well motivated individual to join the DHU safeguarding team as a Safeguarding Assistant Practitioner. The postholder will work within both Childrens and Adults safeguarding arena, ensuring that vulnerable children and adults at risk engaging with DHU are identified and safeguarded.

The post includes a variety of activities including preparing and delivering training to DHU staff, assisting the Child and Adult Safeguarding leads in meeting the corporate safeguarding responsibilities, in addition to undertaking audit, quality assurance, report writing etc. They will be required to liaise with Social Care and Child Health Services and other organisations and support staff in DHU with safeguarding issues.
