The Linguistics Program in the McCausland College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Carolina ( USC ) invites applications for a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track position in Computational Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2026. This interdisciplinary joint hire (with the home department to be determined based on candidateβs specialization) will be part of a university-wide cluster hire in Data Sciences, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cyber security and aims to support cutting-edge research at the intersection of AI and Linguistics.
