Job Description
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, or must be Board-Eligible.
Teaching responsibilities may include participating in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Division of Emergency Medicine. Mentoring of trainees (including fellows and graduate students) in area of applicantβs interest. Mentoring of postdoctoral fellows, students, and fellows and supervision of research staff.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing direct patient care in an Emergency Department that has an annual volume of 100,000 visits. Clinical employment opportunities in Pediatric Emergency Medicine are also being offer...
