Job Description
This clinical faculty position in the division of Pediatrics will:
β’ Spend the majority of his/her clinical activity in the Inpatient Service and must possess strong communication skills to communicate with patients, family members, hospital staff and other faculty members within the Institution.
β’ Provides clinical expertise in patient care management with combined Pediatrics and General Internal Medicine and provides an appropriate teaching environment for fellows, residents and students. The Assistant Professor must be fully ambulatory and have excellent bilateral manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination, visual and auditory acuity in order to perform the job functions. The Assistant Professor will be intelligent with outstanding analytical skills in order to make judgments regarding the patient's medical problems and advise the patient on methods to improve their care.
