The Department of Biomedical Genetics at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY is currently seeking an Assistant Professor in the area of Bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is a strategic priority at the University and the Wilmot Cancer Institute. Scientists performing bioinformatics research and analysis focused on transcriptomics (bulk, single cell, and spatial), genomics, and multi-omics data analysis in biomedical research, including cancer, would be well-suited for this position.
