The School of Nursing at Cape Breton University seeks five tenure-track Assistant Professors starting August 1, 2026. Candidates will deliver theory-based nursing instruction and engage in research that promotes health and community development across Nova Scotia. Emphasis will be placed on teaching excellence and leadership in nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing instruction in a concept-based curriculum
• Conduct nursing research and scholarly activities
• Participate in student nursing practice in various settings
• Provide service to CBU and the nursing community
• Foster student mentorship and development
Requirements:
• Nursing degree (e.g., BScN or MN); PhD preferred
