Assistant Manager

Salary: £31,320 per annum.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Retail Manager passionate about exceptional food and world‑class customer service, who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for a major High Street brand on a full‑time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise between the team and manager to ensure we continually exceed expectations.
• Motivate the team to keep everyone on task.
• Assist the manager with managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plans.
• Manage the tills and process payments.
• Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role.
• Assist with paperwork when required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
