The Western Kentucky University Libraries is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for an Evening Library Assistant. Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to:


+ Oversee evening (12:30 pm to 8:30 pm.) and weekend circulation, safety, and security issues within WKU Libraries. Assist patrons with library sources, searches, and assistance with circulation of library materials. Assist with overseeing and communicating with library student assistants.

+ Work as a team on projects such as inventory and other collection maintenance projects.

+ Provide security services as a part of a team, including security rounds throughout the building, working directly with WKU Police and Facilities on any issues that arise during the evening and weekend. Facilitate closing library buildings as a part of a team.
