Job Description
This role supports the TWU Land Manager in helping to train, coordinate and manage GENVsโ 8 ESA lab assistant positions that run in the fall and spring semesters. Under the supervision of the TWU Lands Manager, they aid to promote the publicโs education on the importance of environmental diversity and preserving the integrity of the ecosystems found in natural areas around the Langley campus, including the ESA, the Blaauw Eco forest in Glen Valley and the Crowโs Nest on Salt Spring Island. Aid the TWU Lands Manager to ensure the safety of natural pathways within the ESA, contributes to the monitoring efforts of ongoing research, and works with the TWU Land Manager to ensure that services remain properly communicated, safe, and in alignment with all regulatory and organizational standards.
