The Asst. Kitchen Team Lead assists in overseeing kitchen operations and the kitchen Team Members for the overall preparation, production and presentation of high quality meals and food products at Sunterra Market. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to customer service, natural leadership abilities, a solid work ethic and a passion for food. The applicant will be an effective and confident communicator, and lead by example while also understanding their role as both supervisor and mentor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and direct food preparation and cooking

Plan and direct Catering Production

Ensure the use of all preparation and sanitary charts and methods

Consult with clients regarding catering orders

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

Plan and execute public cooking classes
