Overview

Founded in 1916, Baton Rouge Country Club is a traditional, family-oriented private equity club with a membership of more than 1,000. The club is recognized for its strong golf culture and active golf program, which features instructional clinics, private lessons, member tournaments, and a full calendar of competitive events.

The golf course was originally designed by Tom Bendelow and underwent a significant renovation by Rees Jones in 2007. The club is currently in the planning stages of an extensive course renovation that will be led by OCM Golf. As a founding member of the Louisiana Golf Association, Baton Rouge Country Club has a rich history of hosting both amateur and professional golf competitions.
