Key Responsibilities

1. Monthly Closing & Financial Reporting

• Manage the full spectrum of the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing process for the Penang plant.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with MFRS/IFRS and internal group policies.
• Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, providing variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget) and commentaries to the Senior Leadership team.
• Oversee the accuracy of the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements specific to plant operations.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises for the plant.
• Collaborate with department heads (Production, Engineering, Logistics) to develop realistic financial targets and monitor spend against allocations.
