Job Description

Main duties and requirements:

  • Positively contribute to the attainment of the Businesses secured workload targets & success rates.
  • Effectively contribute to the preparation of best value tender submissions.
  • Lead our estimating strategy to ensure the bids are well organised, produced in a timely manner and provide sufficient information for the management team to make a valued decision.
  • Mitigate risk during the bid phase through effective risk identification and mitigation strategies (Risk, Opportunity & Assumption register)
  • Provide high level cost advice on emerging opportunities, maintaining database of current market costs.
  • Ensure timely and adequate handover to the Operations team.
  • Advise business on market changes to sub-contractor / material prices in conjunction with the commercial team.
