Job Description
What the role is
- Oversee compilation, analysis and reporting of key tourism statistics, ensuring that communication of tourism performance outcomes and delivery of insights are done in a timely manner.
- Translate data and research into actionable and meaningful insights that would guide both internal teams and external industry stakeholders, with the objective of driving data‑driven decision making across the organisation.
- Liaise and coordinate with information agencies across Whole‑of‑Government (WOG).
- Fulfil analytics deliverables and, where applicable, establish data partnerships with external stakeholders.
- Lead, manage and drive data cleaning, exploration, ingestion, compilation and analysis to derive insights and support business outcomes related to STB’s key tourism performance measures including Visitor Arrivals, Tourism Receipts, and Hotels Stats.
