Description:
The Assistant Director of Building Operations, Physical Plant, and Utilities oversees daily operations, maintenance, and projects for the organizationβs facilities. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating maintenance and repair work, assisting with budget management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing projects related to buildings, grounds, and utilities. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Facilities.
Core Duties
+ Assists in managing phases of project development and implementation relating to HVAC systems and controls.
+ Participates in developing designs and/or technical data from customer specifications while assuring that various codes and University requirements are met.
+ Establishes criteria and/or standards for the design and development of environmental comfort and automation control systems, assuring compatibility with existing engineered features and quality.
